By purchasing from or engaging with JAMA Tech Gadgets [PTY] LTD, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a purchase.
1. About Us
JAMA Tech Gadgets [PTY] LTD is a registered South African business (Reg 2026/260681/07) specialising in gadgets, phones, accessories and clothing, including genuine pre-owned Apple and DJI electronics. We operate nationally, delivering hand-to-hand where we can reach directly and via courier elsewhere.
2. Products
All electronics are 100% genuine. We do not sell counterfeits, copies, or replicas.
Pre-owned electronics are graded A+ (excellent condition, no visible scratches, dents, or damage) unless otherwise stated in writing. New items (including clothing and accessories) are sold as new unless otherwise stated.
For pre-owned electronics, battery health is confirmed and communicated to the buyer before every sale.
Pre-owned electronics come with their original box, charging cable, and a free protective cover where available.
Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided in good faith. Minor variations in colour or appearance may occur.
3. Pricing
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are correct at the time of publication. JAMA Tech Gadgets reserves the right to update prices without prior notice. The price confirmed via WhatsApp or email at the time of purchase is the binding price for that transaction.
4. Cash / EFT / Ozow Payment
Full payment is required before the product is released or dispatched.
EFT payments must reflect in our account before delivery is arranged.
Cash payments are accepted on hand-to-hand delivery.
Ozow payments are processed instantly through our Ozow payment gateway; your order is confirmed as soon as payment is received.
5. Lay-by Terms
A deposit (minimum 20% of the purchase price) is required to reserve an item.
The item is held exclusively for you until the agreed payment period ends.
Monthly payments must be made as agreed via WhatsApp or email.
The item remains the property of JAMA Tech Gadgets until the full purchase price is paid.
If the buyer defaults or cancels, the deposit may be forfeited. JAMA Tech Gadgets may, at its discretion, offer a credit note or partial refund.
JAMA Tech Gadgets reserves the right to cancel a lay-by agreement if no payments are received for 30 days without prior communication.
6. Installment Plan Terms
A deposit is required upfront. The remainder is paid in fixed monthly instalments as agreed.
The product is handed over after the initial deposit is received.
The product remains the property of JAMA Tech Gadgets until all instalments are paid in full.
Missed instalments may result in the agreement being cancelled and the product being reclaimed.
Instalments are interest-free (0%) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If the buyer is unable to continue with their instalment payments, JAMA Tech Gadgets will collect the device from the buyer. The buyer will receive a refund of 80% of the amount paid to date; the remaining 20% is retained to cover handling and depreciation.
7. Delivery
We offer hand-to-hand delivery in areas we can reach directly. Elsewhere, we deliver nationwide via courier, pickup-point services, or other delivery methods we may offer, typically within 7–12 business days depending on your location and the method used.
Delivery fees (if applicable) will be communicated and agreed before dispatch.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery.
JAMA Tech Gadgets is not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.
We will provide a tracking number or delivery confirmation via WhatsApp.
8. Inspection & Acceptance
The buyer is encouraged to inspect the product upon delivery. Once the buyer has accepted the product and confirmed its condition in writing (including via WhatsApp), the sale is considered final.
9. Returns & Warranty
You may return your item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided it is returned in its original condition, with its original box, accessories and proof of purchase. Electronics must also be factory-reset and unlinked from any account (e.g. Find My, Google Account). A restocking fee of 10% may apply to pre-owned electronics returned with an opened seal.
Return shipping is at the buyer's expense, unless the item was faulty or materially different from what was agreed in writing, in which case JAMA Tech Gadgets covers the return shipping cost.
Approved refunds are paid out within 7 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item.
Pre-owned electronics do not carry a manufacturer warranty.
JAMA Tech Gadgets does not cover damage caused by the buyer after acceptance.
If a product develops a fault within 7 days of delivery due to a pre-existing condition not disclosed at the time of sale, we will assess the situation and offer a repair, replacement, or credit at our discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JAMA Tech Gadgets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products. Our maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the specific product in question.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from a transaction with JAMA Tech Gadgets shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate South African courts.
